I have two different styles of omnidirectional microphone capsules readily available .

Displayed is the schematic of the Schoeps electret transformer circuit used for the Soundcatcher.
With matched 2N5087 transistors.
I have also added 22pf capacitors parallel to he 100K resistors, for maximum low noise performance.
